Market

SkyCity is built to be modular.  Instead of one large subscription fee, users and businesses only pay for what they need, when they need it.  One business might need the supplier app, while another business will need supplier app, Rolodex app and business categories app.

A business can start with a listed business.  As the business grows, plug-ins are activated, increasing the business capabilities.

Market

The Market is designed for users and businesses to customize their accounts.  Activate plug-ins and third-party subscriptions through the Market.

The Market and all plug-ins are available for all tiers of users and businesses.  Some third party subscriptions might have requirements to subscribe.

In SkyCity, we use the term plug-in to describe the services being added to the business.  Each plug-in may/may not come with applications – depending on the function.  Cost for plug-ins include all the applications associated.

Business Plug-ins

Business Category

Disabled in SkyCity Market for project reconfiguration

On initial creation, each business is assigned one business category.

The business category plugin increases the number of categories available for a business.

This plug-in does not have an application.  It automatically increase the number of business categories located Settings.

Manufacturer

Disabled in SkyCity Market for project reconfiguration

Manufacturer plug-in allows a business to create products to be sold.

A business can create, sell and distribute products to other businesses that have the Manufacture plug-in or Merchant plug-in.

The plug-in consists of 1 app:

Manufacturer App

This application creates an inventory of all products added to the business, able to select which products are for retail and what is available for distribution.

The distribution section allows the business to add other businesses and indicate what product is shipped to that business.

There is also a distribution map that will provide the business with an overview of where distribution hubs and retailers.

Merchant

Merchant plug-in allows a business to receive products from Manufacturers and Merchants.

A business sell and distribute products to other businesses that have the Manufacture plug-in or Merchant plug-in.

The plug-in consists of 1 app:

Merchant App

This application is used to receive products from Manufacturer apps and other Merchant apps.

It creates an inventory of all products, able to select which products are for retail and what is available for distribution.

The distribution section allows the business to add other businesses and indicate what product is shipped to that business.

Rolodex

Rolodex plug-in allows a business to create a directory of employees to be shared to other users and businesses.

Allows the create of a dynamic directory that can be shared to the business website.  Rolodex plugin has 2 apps:

Business Rolodex App

This application is shared with other employees so they can see the directory and modify their information.

Rolodex Admin App

Administrative control of the business directory and Business Rolodex.  Admin can do the following:

  • Add or remove employees will be displayed in the Rolodex.
  • Fields employees can edit
  • Which employees will show on the business website business directory and/or business web pages.

NOTE:  As all apps are available for all businesses, it is strongly advise that this plug-in is to be used by Registered and Certified Businesses.  The Rolodex requires employees to be added to the Rolodex, and ONLY Registered and Certified Businesses are allowed to add employees.

SkyCity Realty

SkyCity Realty Plug-in is used to post property listings on the SkyCity Realty website.

Allows the business to create, edit, publish and de-list various properties.

A business only pays for the posting of listings, not the plug-in.

The listing configuration page is set up for a business to only pay for what they use.  The payment is a one-time purchase.

SkyCity Realty plugin has 3 apps:

Realtor Agent App

This application allows employees to create, edit, modify and de-list properties that have been assigned to them.

Used by businesses where agents or staff have the permission to create, but do not have the financial authority to post properties.

Realtor Manager App

This application allows employees to create, edit, modify, de-list, and publish properties

Functions the same as the Realtor Agent app.  This is used by agents or staff with the financial authority to post properties.

Realtor Admin App

This application is the central control for the SkyCity Realty plugin.

It allows administrators to:

  • Change the business information displayed on the business card on the listing
  • Change the business icon
  • Install the business banner
  • Set sharing permissions with other businesses
  • Listing display settings for the business website

NOTE:  When used in coordination with the Rolodex plug-in.  Businesses can assign up to a maximum of 5 agents to each listing.  The Rolodex requires employees to be added to the Rolodex, and ONLY Registered and Certified Businesses are allowed to add employees.

SkyCity Realty

SkyCity Realty Plug-in is used to post property listings on the SkyCity Realty website.

It allows a user to create, edit, publish, and de-list a property.

A user only pays for the publication of a listing, not the plug-in.
